moaners stinking the place out again
|
I don't post a lot but look in a few times a day and when not at an away game I follow the match thread and quite frankly this site has gone beyond boring how people constantly dig Sam out.
You know what, you lot stink the place out with your constant moaning of Sam & Nolan?
Who knows why some players were left out today, we all know Sam like his statistics and sport science and maybe because of fitness they were telling him to leave them out. Just think if he played them and they got injured long term, would you all be having a dig at Sam for not listening to the stats.
Did you really think we could beat Chelsea away or even give them a game with their 1/2 billion pound team, blatant cheating and refs that give them everything. If you did then it shows what a long way we have come under Sam.
Seriously people I love reading this site but it’s getting to the point where you’re driving people away.
5th in the league, 31 points and compared to anything else in the top 10, all done on a fu#king shoestring.
Get a grip.

Massive difference between moaning and constructive criticism? Why shouldnt we give teams like chelsea a game? Why shouldnt we beat chelsea?
Thinking we shouldnt be allowed to beat the "big boys" is a far worse attitude imho.

We COULD have given them a game today.
Allardyce chose not to.

You're the worst type of fan that exists. I'd take 32'000 booing moaners of you lot.

'Just think if he played them and got injured long term'.. Do fuck off..
Another one who is not getting it...nothing to do with thinking we could win, it was the utter humiliating bottle job selection and performance. The cunts took the piss out of us, and we went a fair way in helping them do so.

Good point about the 1/2 billion pound team. God knows what we are gonna do against Man City.

Never thought every time a player went out and played they might get seriously injured.

The price of success is that people's expectations change with it. The fact that so many fans dislike the manager, begrudge giving him any credit and look for the slightest thing to criticise, means you get this sort of reaction after a defeat.
It's not a case of lying down and saying we can't beat Chelsea away, it's accepting that it's very unlikely. Played 9, won 9 at Stamford Bridge is telling. We were totally outplayed today but if you were to go by WHO you'd think we were two starting players away from being competitive.
Had Song and Amalfitano started today with Nolan on the bench, posters on WHO would be looking for another scapegoat. Something about Allardyce getting his tactics wrong would be my guess.

I said last week I'd rip into him for starting with Nolan and playing for a draw only to lose as I suspected he would.
So I'm ripping in as this is all the satisfaction I've got.
Downing on the wing - I donno.

I usually make you spot on brucies, but you are way out there.
You play your best team if you want to win. Fuck chelsea. You say they were 9/9 at home? Well we've scored in every away game up to today? How is playing a weakened team going to msintain that?
Like someone said earlier, chelsea gave us a huge amount of respect by playing their best possible team. If they are that much better, why wouldnt they rest some players?
Its about going out there and having a go.

it's nothing to do with scapegoating and all to do with a cunt giving away three points. I know Chelsea have one of the best starting line ups in Europe and it's almost impossible competing against them talent wise but we've shown this season that we can beat supposedly better teams so why leave song on the bench today? it made no sense at all

I thought the selection was wrong and weak. However Chelsea played better than I have ever seen them. I think they would be a match for any team in Europe playing like that. Just an opinion of course.

It's not like we played a reserve team. We made a couple of changes! It's a reality of the Christmas period and if it gives us a better chance against Arsenal then so be it.
I don't think playing Song, Morgan or Sakho would have made the slightest bit of difference today.
